Privacy Policy

Remoroo is built for high-stakes research. We prioritize your code's integrity and your research privacy by design. Use of our website and services is also governed by our Terms of Use.

Last Updated: April 5, 2026

1. Code Ownership

You own 100% of the code you develop, optimize, or repair using Remoroo. The engine interacts with your project solely as a tool to facilitate research. Remoroo does not claim any intellectual property rights over your project files, ideas, or implementation patches.

2. Local Execution

By default, all code execution happens locally on your machine or in your dedicated container environment. Your raw source code remains within your infrastructure and never leaves your machine unless you explicitly opt-in to use the hosted Cloud Engine.

3. Data Stewardship

To improve reliability, Remoroo collects selective data points from local runs, used exclusively to refine autonomous planning models.

Metrics: Runtime, memory, and custom success metrics.
Hydrated Context: Targeted source files for autonomous reasoning.
Artifacts: Final patches (automatically sanitized).
Logs: Non-sensitive execution logs for failure pattern identification.

4. Security

Since the engine runs locally, you maintain absolute control over environment variables, secrets, and proprietary data. We recommend the Remoroo Sandbox (Docker-based) for further isolation.

5. Transparency & Auditability

The Remoroo CLI and Offline Engine are fully open sourced and publicly auditable at github.com/Remoroo/remoroo.

6. Website & Product Analytics

On www.remoroo.com, we use Vercel Analytics for aggregate traffic metrics and PostHog for product analytics (for example page views and in-app events). These tools may set cookies or use similar storage as described in their documentation. We configure them to support our understanding of how the site and console are used, not to sell personal data.
